Kealakehe High School hosted the eighth meet of the Big Island Interscholastic Federation (BIIF) track and field season Saturday in Kailua-Kona, inviting all schools from across the island to partake in the “Freshman/Sophomore Meet.” It was also the second meet this season in which the Waveriders have hosted with their new aqua blue track.

This week, the BIIF championships will be held on Friday and Saturday at Kealakehe once again. Trials will begin 2 p.m. Friday with the field events, and will continue on at 9 a.m. Saturday.
