Take Yazaki
Take Yazaki, 108, of Hilo, died Aug. 12 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born Nov. 15, 1903, in Kanagawa Ken, Japan, she retired from the former Palm Terrace Hotel and was a member of Taishoji Soto Mission and Yamanashi Kenjin Kai.
Private services were held. Family requests no monetary gifts or flowers.
She is survived by sons, Anselm (Bertha) Yazaki Sr., of Hilo, Albert (Jane) Yazaki, of Kaneohe, Oahu; daughter, Jeanne Liu, of Honolulu; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
