Florence Dias
Florence “Flossie” Jane Dias, 69, of Paauilo died Jan. 31, 2013, at her home. Born Oct. 22, 1943, in Haina, Maui, she worked at Don’s Chinese Kitchen, Kamuela Deli and CC Jon’s and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa.
Friends may call at 8 a.m. Feb. 9 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa for a 10 a.m. Mass. Urn burial follows at Kalopa Catholic Cemetery. Family requests casual attire be worn.
She is survived by daughter, Raydyn (Junior) Ines of Waimea; brothers, Johnny Gomes of Oahu, Willy Gomes of Kona, Herbert (Judy) Gomes and Clarence (Sharon) Gomes, both of Maui, George Gomes of Hilo; sisters, Evelyn Costa of Hilo, Louise (Merle) Coon of Vancouver, Wash., Alice Hollenbeck, of Santa Rosa, Calif., Frances Wong of North Carolina; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
