TripAdvisor.com, the world’s largest travel site, has named Kailua-Kona the top U.S. destination on the rise.
The website on Tuesday announced its Travelers’ Choice Destinations on the Rise awards placing Kailua-Kona atop the U.S. destinations on the rise. Kailua-Kona beat out other U.S. destinations like Anchorage, Alaska, Destin, Fla., Gettysburg, Pa., among others.
Havana, Cuba, was recognized as the top destination on the rise in the world, according to TripAdvisor.com.
The awards highlight 54 locations worldwide that have seen the greatest increase in positive traveler feedback and traveler interest year-over-year, according TripAdvisor.com.
