The Living Arts Gallery in Hawi is showing watercolor scenes by artist member Peter Jefferson.

“LandEscapes” is Jefferson’s newest show, featuring the dramatic ocean vistas and landscapes of North and South Kohala. The show runs the entire month of April at the Living Arts Gallery, located at 55-3435 Akoni Pule Highway, on the main street of Hawi. The gallery is open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend the opening reception from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday and meet the artist.

The gallery features only the work of Big Island artists, representing more than 75 artists, in a wide variety of media. As an artist collective, the gallery is staffed by the artists. Jefferson will be working in the gallery Thursday, April 24 and 29.
