Big Island police have located a 24-year-old man wanted for allegedly kidnapping a 27-year-old woman early Saturday. The woman has also been located.
Keahi Sale was arrested shortly after 8 p.m. in South Kohala, according to the Hawaii Police Department. Police have also located the woman who was reportedly being held against her will, Chelsea Waltjen. No further information was available on the woman’s condition.
Police said Sale kidnapped the woman early Saturday morning. Sale was also reportedly in possession of a handgun and was also wanted for numerous outstanding warrants.
