Kamehameha dominated a showdown Saturday against Hawaii Preparatory Academy to get back to the Hawaii High School Athletic Association baseball tournament.
Chay Toson allowed only two hits in five stellar innings and the Warriors pounded 15 hits in Waimea to beat Ka Makani 12-2 in a winner-take-all Big Island Interscholastic Federation Division II regular-season finale.
Kamehameha (8-1-1) also earned the top seed in the BIIF semifinals, where it will host Honokaa in a Saturday doubleheader.
The Warriors scored early and often in the five-inning TKO, getting two hits from six players. Makoa Rosario homered, doubled, scored twice and drove in three runs, and Daylen Calicdan and Micah Carter each finished with two RBIs. Matthew Chun and Kobi Candaroma each scored twice.
Toson was 2 for 3 at the plate, and he struck out six with one walk while not allowing an earned run.
In the best-of-three semifinals, Ka Makani (8-2) will host Konawaena (6-4) in a 1 p.m. Friday doubleheader.
DJ Sekiya was the losing pitcher, yielding 13 hits and 10 runs, six earned, with a walk and a strikeout. Mike Nakahara doubled and scored for HPA.

Caleb Freitas-Fields and Kodi Medeiros each worked three innings as three pitchers combined on a no-hitter for the host Warriors, who claimed their eighth straight victory.
Freitas-Fields worked three innings and struck out four. Calvin Uemura struck out two in the fourth and Medeiros fanned seven, walked three and hit a batter.
Waiakea (9-1), which hosts Keaau on April 25 in a doubleheader in the BIIF semifinals, scored all of its runs in the fourth against Shelton Grace. Freitas-Fields, Mikey Jitchaku and Evan Ishihara drove in runs.
In three innings of relief, Grace yielded two hits, four runs, two earned, with four walks and three strikeouts for Konawaena (6-4).

Keian Kanetani delivered a complete game and went 2 for 4 at the plate in Keaau to help the Cougars head to the Division I playoffs on a high note.
Bryon Cachola batted 2 for 3 with an RBI and Anson Kauwe drove in two runs for the Cougars (2-8).
Kanetani, who scored two runs, struck out three and allowed only one earned run with no walks.
The Waveriders (3-7) take a five-game losing streak to the postseason.
Pohaku Dela Cruz was 2 for 4 with two RBIs, and he started on the mound and took the loss. In five innings, Dela Cruz allowed seven hits, six runs, four earned, with two walks and three strikeouts.
Shaden Lewi also posted two hits for Kealakehe, which visits Hilo on April 26 in a doubleheader to begin their best-of-three Division I semifinal series.

Ricky Ching pitched eight solid innings in Pahoa and the Cowboys pushed across two runs in the top of the eighth inning to finish 4-6.
Kohala only managed four hits against Troy Rasse, but all of them went for extra bases. Steven Medeiros doubled and tripled and Willy Perez doubled twice.
Rasse also hurled a complete game, and Dathan Wong-Chong finished 2 for 3 with a double.
