Hawaii Island police are searching for an 18-year-old Hilo man who was reported missing.

Sterling Shackley was last seen in Hilo at 5 a.m. Thursday, according to the Hawaii Police Department. He has a medical condition that requires medicatio.

He is described as Caucasian, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and a tattoo of a shark on his left shoulder, according to police.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call the department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311.
