The Hawaii County Department of Public Works, Highway Maintenance Division resumed work on Monday on Palani Road in Kailua-Kona. The work requires one lane of the thoroughfare to be closed.
Crews will be working Monday and Tuesday widening the road shoulders. The work area is located makai of Konalani Street, according to the department.
Work hours are slated between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
