Fire officials are investigating the cause of a Sunday morning structure fire in the Hawaiian Paradise Park subdivision of Puna.

Responding to the 4:54 a.m. report, firefighters arrived at 15-2169 Government Beach Road to find a three-story home engulfed in flames that had already collapsed, according to the Hawaii Fire Department. The home was apparently vacant at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.

Firefighters, which included paid and volunteer members, were able to extinguish the blaze in just over an hour, according to the department.
