Konawaena High School’s Homecoming event, “Rise of the Wildcat,” will be held Friday at the Julian Yates Field.
The junior varsity game will begin at 5 p.m. against the Pahoa Daggers and will be an eight-man game.
Following the JV game, festivities will include a Homecoming parade featuring the alumni class of 1964, which recently held its 50th class reunion. Col. Ellison Onizuka was a member of that class. The parade will also include the 2014 Homecoming Court, the Kona Marlins Football Club and grade level classes.
The varsity game against Hawaii Preparatory Academy will follow.
