“Gone Girl” — On his fifth wedding anniversary, a husband reports that his wife has gone missing and finds himself at the center of a police investigation and a media frenzy in this adaptation of the 2012 novel. “Harmontown” — A documentary chronicling Dan Harmon’s podcast tour after he was fired from NBC’s cult comedy series “Community.” Directed by Neil Berkeley. (1:41) NR.

“The Hero of Color City” — In this animated movie, a band of crayons come alive in a little boy’s room when he drifts off to sleep. With the voices of Christina Ricci, Owen Wilson and Rosie Perez. “Left Behind” — When millions of Christians are transported to heaven in the Rapture and the rest of the world is plunged into chaos, a pilot tries to save his hysterical passengers and get back to his family.
