The Kailua Village Artists is hosting its annual All Member Artists Reception and Holiday Charity Tree Ornament Sale from 5 to 7:30 p.m. today at its Kona Marketplace gallery located at 75-5729 Alii Drive. An artist meet-and-greet will feature entertainment and light pupu and refreshments.

The Kailua Village Artists consist of nine resident member artists who work with varied media, including watercolors, digital design, photography, jewelry, stained glass, ceramics, acrylics, oils, wood and gyotaku. The artist lineup includes Stefanie Culbertson, Lisa Haake, Betty Gerstner, Bill Jaeger, Kathleen Jaeger, Marilyn Koschella, Christal Nylin, Linda Savell and Whitney Steele, along with guest artists Rachel Baker, Patti Datlof, Hugh Jenkins, Stephanie Ross, Brad Lewis, Dale Moore, Bill Twibell and Syd Vierra.

The Holiday Charity Tree features an original selection of ornaments made by the artists and sale proceeds from the event, and through the month of December, will benefit Friends of the Children of West Hawaii.
