A wind advisory has been posted for the Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa summits through noon Saturday, according to the National Weather Service in Honolulu.

The service forecast southeast winds of 30 mph to 45 mph with gusts topping 60 mph for areas for the summit areas.

The service cautioned that winds this strong can make driving in the area difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles.
