Chana Mari Ichinotsubo, 32, of Wailuku, Maui, and formerly of Hilo died May 22, 2015, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a registered X-ray technician with Maui Memorial Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente Maui.

Friends may call at 4 p.m. June 17 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 5 p.m. celebration of life. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.

She is survived by parents, Van and Nancy Ichinotsubo of Hilo; brother, Scott Ichinotsubo of Hilo; sister, Kiana Ichinotsubo of Hilo; paternal grandmother, Shizue Ichinotsubo of Honomu; maternal grandparents, Harold and Frances Mizuno of Hilo; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; one nephew.

Patrick Dacayanan

Patrick Dacayanan, 54, of Hilo died June 5, 2015, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Dec. 20, 1960, in Hilo, he was a parking control officer for the state in Hilo.

Friends may call at 8:30 a.m. June 18 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 10 a.m. service. Burial follows at noon at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers and lei are welcome.

He is survived by wife, Sandy Dacayanan of Hilo; sons, Patrick Dacayanan Jr. and Kendrick (Hina Delaries) Dacayanan, both of Hilo; daughter, Stacia Aiwohi-Tomlin of Hilo; mother, Leonora Dacayanan of Pepeekeo; brother, Emil Dacayanan of Honolulu; sisters, Tesi (Milton) Subica and Priscilla (Jason Grouns) Dacayanan, both of Hawaiian Paradise Park, Lidia (Tommy Dela Cruz) Dacayanan and Melissa (Ryan Salvador) Dacayanan, both of Pepeekeo; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Ellen Noah

Ellen Leilani Molina Noah, 78, of Hilo,died June 2, 2015, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Oct. 5, 1936, in Honolulu, she was a child care provider and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Aunty Sally’s Senior Program.

Friends may call at 6 p.m. June 18 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 7 p.m. service. Friends may also call at 10 a.m. June 19 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo for a Mass. Burial follows at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima section. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.

She is survived by sons, Michael (Muzette) Molina of Mountain View, Darrell Molina of Pahoa; daughters, Theresa (Gary) Rosario of Mountain View, Christine Molina of Hilo; hanai son, Alapaki Melim of Hilo; brothers, John Noah of Kona, Steven (Margo) Noah of Keaukaha, Robert (Claudia) Noah of Waimea; sister, Kathleen Rapoza of Kona; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Gregorio Alejo Jr.

Gregorio “George” F. Alejo Jr., 70, of Waikoloa died May 16, 2015, at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born June 18, 1944, in Kohala, he was a retired police detective for the Hawaii Police Department, an Army veteran and member of the Waimea/Waikoloa New Hope Fellowship in Hawaii.

Friends may call at 4 p.m. June 19 at Waimea New Hope Christian Fellowship for a 7 p.m.;. service. An urn committal service will be held at 8:15 a.m. June 20 at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. Family requests casual attire be worn.

He is survived by wife, Lee Alejo of Waikoloa; daughters, Leanne (Daniel) Caravalho of Kapaau, Sheryl Fischel of Maui; sons, Roy (Brenda) Hirayama and Greg (Rena) Alejo, both of Maui, Kyle (Romy) Hirayama of Waikoloa; hanai daughter, Kristi (Aaron) Ichiki of Honolulu; 10 grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Vicente Pacyao

Vicente “Pake” Pacyao, 86, of Honokaa died May 29, 2015, at Waimea home. Born April 5, 1929 in Kapulena, he was a retired supervisor for the former Hamakua Sugar Co., a Honokaa reserve police officer, Honokaa School crossing guard and member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa, Honokaa Saranay Club and Visayans of Hawaii Inc.

Manuel Flores

Manuel “Manny” G. Flores, 81, of Hilo died June 6, 2015, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Oxnard, Calif., he was a co-owner of Big Island Mexican Foods and served in the Air Force.

Friends may call at 2:30 p.m. June 20 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 3 p.m. service. A celebration of life follows at Big Island Mexican Foods in Keaau.

He is survived by daughters, Karen Wendel, Beverly Reis; brothers, Peter Flores, Joe Flores, Ruben Flores; sister, Trini Arce; two granddaughters; nieces and nephews.

William Gabriel Jr.

William M. “Gabe” Gabriel Jr., 60 of Hilo died May 24, 2015, at Hilo Medical Center. Born on Oahu, he was a cane truck driver for Hamakua Sugar Co., a commercial driver for Kamaaina Distribution Co. in Hilo, and member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo.

Janice Taylor

Janice Louise Taylor, 68, of Naalehu died June 4, 2015, at home. Born in Baltimore, she was a retired manager for Walmart Stores and member of Naalehu Assembly of God Church.

Richard Thoren Jr.

Richard Gene Thoren Jr., 43, of Keaau died May 28, 2015. He was born Aug. 17, 1971, in Hilo.

Frances “Mrs. T” Iwalani Torricer, 79, of Kalaoa died May 9, 2015, at residence. Born June 6, 1935, in Kailua-Kona, she was a retired executive housekeeper at the former King Kamehameha and former Keauhou Beach hotels, member of the Kona Seniors Softball Club, Natural High Softball Club, St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Altar Rosary club and an Ironman Triathlon volunteer.

Friends may call at 8 a.m. June 20 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Kailua-Kona for a 10 a.m. Mass. Burial follows at Kona Memorial Park in Holualoa. Luncheon and fellowship will be at noon at the King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel’s luau grounds. Fmily requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome.

She is survived by sons, Ernest Torricer, Robert (Brenda) Torricer and Leonard (Cheryl) Torricer, all of Kalaoa; seven granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
