Linda Ann Vorobik will offer a workshop titled, “Botanical Drawing: Line and Form” Oct. 17 and 18 in South Kona.
The workshop, which runs both days from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., will be a close study of the line and form of leaves, stems and flowers. It is designed for the beginner and for those who have artistic skills in botanical art. Media used include pencil, graphite and ink, with a brief introduction to colored pencil techniques.
Cost is $200 for members of Society for Kona’s Education and Arts and $220 for nonmembers. SKEA is located in Honaunau at 84-5191 Mamalahoa Highway.
