The Hawaii Police Department reports that the Hilo-bound lane of Hawaii Belt Road is closed at Kawalii Gulch because of a landslide.
Motorists should expect delays of up to two hours. Traffic is being contra-flowed around the closure.
State crews are on the scene to clear the debris, police said.
