Results of the American Contract Bridge League at the Kona Bridge Club for the month of September follow:
Sept. 2:North/south first went to Richard Gittleman and Shelly Hershberger; second, Shirley Decker and JoAnn Hill. East/west winners were Kathy Golitzen and Dee Overton; second, Lynn Puri and Gail Mullen.
Sept. 3: First place went to Kathy Golitzen and JoAn Hill, tied for second were Mary Lean and Norman Lean and Sally Bobb and Walt Bobb.
Sept. 7: Sally Bobb and Walt Bob took first place north/south; second, Beth Reid and Alice Goo. Placing first east/west were Butchie Hayward and Jim Elstran; second, JoAn Hill and Virginia Scott.
Sept. 9: North/south first went to Dean Jenkins and Gail Hadovsky; second, Peter Mitchell and Peter Golitzen. Taking first east/west were Rose White and Beth Reid; second, Kathy Golitzen and Dee Overton.
Sept. 10: Mary Lean and Norman Lean took first; second, Sue Kaneta and Jim Elstran.
Sept. 14: Coming in first north/south were Mary Lean and Norman Lean; second, Sally Bobb and Walt Bobb. West/west first went to Chuck Clark and Dorothy Case; second, Kathy Golitzen and Peter Mitchell.
Sept. 16: Ralph Jungwirth and Latrelle Uhi took first place north/south; second, Shelly Hershberger and Richard Gittleman. East/west winners were Dorothy Case and Dan Sabo; second, JoAn Hill and Shirley Decker.
Sept. 17: Placing first were Kathy Golitzen and JoAn Hill; tied for second were Mary Lean and Norman Lean and Jim Elstran and Sue Kaneta.
Sept. 2: North/sout first went to Gerald Mitchell and Shirley Decker; second, Sally Bobb and Walt Bobb. Placing first east/west were Gail Mullen and Lynn Puri; second, Cathy Golitzen and Peter Mitchell.
Sept. 23: Stuart Vance and Peter Mitchell came in first north/south; second, Robert Cole and Jean Cole. First east/west went to Dean Jenkins and Gail Hadovsky; second, Leanna Kertson and Richard Kertson.
Sept. 26: Claiming first north/south were Sally Bobb and Lois Griffiths; second, Shirley Decker and Gail Mullen. Beth Reid and Liz Holey place first east/west; second, Gail Hadovsky and Bev Jefferson.
Sept. 28: Dickie Motherwell and Gail Buck came in first north/south; second, Sue Kaneta and Bev Jefferson. East/west first went to Chuck Clark and Dorothy Case; second, Kathy Golitzen and Peter Mitchell.
