HONOLULU (AP) — A Honolulu police officer charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl is scheduled for another court hearing.

The Honolulu prosecutor’s office says Officer Jessie Laconsay’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for Thursday.

Police found Laconsay on Oahu’s North Shore after asking the public to help find him last week.

A criminal complaint filed in court says he allegedly had sex with the girl last week. He’s charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault and one count of third-degree sexual assault.

After his arrest on Wednesday, police say he was taken to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

He’s being held on $500,000 bail. It’s not clear whether he has legal representation.
