Abraham Keliipio Sr.

Abraham Kaulukou Keliipio, Sr., 71, of Hilo died May 26, 2016, in Las Vegas. Born in Hilo, he was a heavy equipment mechanic, an Air Force veteran and a member of the Haili Congregational Church.

Friends may call at 10 a.m. June 18 at the Haili Congregational Church in Hilo for an 11 a.m. celebration of life. Refreshments will follow in the multi-purpose room. Aloha attire.

He is survived by daughter, Arlene Keliipio; son, Abraham (Starr Anastasio) Keliipio Jr.; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gary Marks

Gary Kilikiano “Gary Boy” Marks, 16, of Hilo died June 1, 2016, at home. Born in Hilo, he was a student at Waiakea High School, member of New Hope Christian Fellowship – Hamakua and the Hilo Waiakea Interact Club.

Friends may call at 10 a.m. June 18 at New Hope Hilo Hawaii Gathering Place for an 11 a.m. service, followed by cremation. The family requests casual attire and that flowers be omitted.

He is survived by parents, Christian and Naomi Marks of Hilo; Brother, Goozers Marks of Hilo; maternal grandparents, Mervin and Wilma Kuahiwinui of Hilo; paternal grandmother, Charlene Marks of Hilo; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, hanai families and friends.

Carrie Yonemori

Carrie Mari Yonemori, 53, of Hilo died June 1, 2016, at the Hilo Medical Center. Born June 27, 1962, he was an attorney, and a founding member and instructor of the Hilo Seishikan Aikido Club.

Friends may call at 4 p.m. June 18 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 5 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire and no flowers.

She is survived by mother, Kay Yonemori of Hilo; sister, Joni (Cary) Ebesugawa of Hilo; brother, Gregg (Michele) Yonemori of Hilo; uncles, aunts, nephews, a niece, and cousins.

Raymond Santiago

Raymond Santiago, 72, of Kohala died March 11, 2016, at his daughter’s home in Hilo. Born in Kohala, he was a retired truck driver and office manager for Union 76 Petroleum Co. in Kawaihae, office dispatcher for Cypriano Trucking in Waimea, and a U.S. Navy veteran.

Friends may call from 8 to 9:30 a.m. June 18 at Hawi Sacred Heart Catholic Church for a 10 a.m. Mass. Private urn committal will occur at a later date. The family requests casual attire and that flowers be omitted.

He is survived by daughter, Rayette Dee (Robert) Abraham of Hilo; Son, Raymond (Anna Lee) Santiago Jr. of Hilo; sisters, Patricia Blonde of Michigan, Vivian (Joe) Maria of Kohala, Millie (Francis) Saiki of Hilo; brother, Richard Santiago of Kohala; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Yoshiko See

Yoshiko “Priscilla” See, 94, of Pahala died May 22, 2016, at Ka’u Hospital. Born in Piihonua, she was the owner of the former W. See Store in Pahala.

Private family services were held.

She is survived by daughters, Eiko Nii (Toshi Ogata) of Calif., Althea (Peter) Chen of Calif., Joy (Ed) Shiinoki of Honolulu, Gail (Ernest) Kalani of Pahala; sons, Jesse (Kathy) See of Washington state, Bobby (Charlene) See of Pahala, Karl See of Mililani, Oahu; sister, Namiko Nii of California; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Tamiko Noji

Tamiko Noji, 91, of Pepeekeo died June 5, 2016, at the Life Care Center of Hilo. Born Nov. 3, 1924, in Honohina-Mauka, she was a retired seamstress for Pomare, Limited Co. and member of the Honomu Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.

Private services held. No flowers. No monetary offerings.

She is survived by sisters-in-law, Okinu Matsuoka of Pepeekeo and Yoshiko Matsuoka of Savannah, Georgia; numerous nephews and nieces.

Mark Green

Mark Elmer Green, 68, of Keaau died May 24, 2016, at home. Born in Canon City, Colo., was a retired specialty tanker truck driver.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. to sundown June 18 at the Green residence for a 2 p.m. celebration of life. The family requests that casual attire be worn.

He is survived by wife, Marchand Green of Keaau; sons, Mark Green of San Luis Obispo, Calif., Shaylan (Charlotte) Allmen of Homer, Alaska; daughters, Christina (John) McPherson of Salinas, Calif., Simone Allmen of Italy; mother, Wanda Green of San Diego; brothers, Kent (Cynthia) Green of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., Larry Green of Grand Island, Neb., Garry Green of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; three grandchildren; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews.

Satoru Okimoto

Satoru Okimoto, 94, of Papaikou died on May 29, 2016, at the Hilo Medical Center. Born March 28, 1922, in Onomea, he was a retired maintenance worker at Travelodge hotel, member of the Papaikou Hongwanji Buddhist Temple and Kalaoa Down Kumiai.

Friends may call at 4 p.m. June 21 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 5 p.m. service. Casual attire is requested.

He is survived by daughter, Dale (William) Higa of Pearl City, Oahu; sons, Lance (Ellen) Okimoto of Papaikou, Ryan Okimoto of Papaikou, Neal Okimoto of Keaau; sister, Kimie (Seiji) Aoki of Papaikou; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
