The Disabled American Veterans of Hawaii held their State Convention June 11 at Hilton Garden Hotel on Kauai. Delegates in attendance from Chapter 7 Kona were, Boss Hanato, Don Brown, Donde Nueva, Gregg Alip, Tony Brigoli and Mel Behasa. The event’s keynote speaker was retired Four Star General, and former Veterans Administration Secretary Eric Shinseki of Kauai. Also present were national commanders from around the nation.
