The festival officially got underway with “An Evening at the Stork Club” July 1 in South Kohala and “The Art of Song I” on July 6 in Waimea. It continues through July 31.

Saturday:
“Chee-Yun and Friends Perform Vivaldi’s Four Seasons,” 2 p.m. at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai ballroom in Kailua-Kona. Cost ranges from $65-$100 ticket. Pupu and wine included. Limited to 75 reserved seats.
Sunday:
“HPAF Strings,” 12:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Honokaa. Free. Iggy Jang offers his string program.

“HPAF Jr. Strings – Short and Sweet,” 12:30 p.m. at St James Episcopal Church in Waimea. Free. Our youngest students perform with the exuberance and innocence of youth.
“The Art of Song II,” 7 p.m. at Davies Chapel, HPA Campus, in Waimea. Free. The L’enfant et les sortilèges (The Child and the Spells) cast presents an evening of Art Song masterpieces.

“Le Nozze di Figaro” (The Marriage of Figaro), by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozar, 7 p.m. at Gates Performing Arts Center, HPA Campus, in Waimea. One of the most popular, most performed operas of all time. Tickets are $25 general admission.

“HPAF Strings with Grammy Award-winner Gary Washburn,” 7 p.m. at Honokaa People’s Theatre. Local and international artists collaborate in an evening of classical and jazz. Tickets are $25 general admission.
