KAILUA-KONA — Police responded to a bomb threat Thursday at Taco Bell in Kailua-Kona.

Hawaii Police Department spokeswoman Chris Loos confirmed officers responded to the Palani Road fast food restaurant at 12:26 p.m.

Police officials told West Hawaii Today shortly before 1:30 p.m. that officers had cleared the scene.
