I believe you to be intelligent people.

It is fruitless to argue which party or politician is bettet than another.

Recall the past, observe the now, read and think!

The Founding Fathers created the United States as a Republic but Washington, D.C. policies started giving that away in the latter half of the 1800s to the robber barons.

But at least we had some democracy till we became an empire.

Under the Republic, the federal government had limited responsibilties and answered to the states. The states answered to its citizens. Under the empire, everybody does what the federal government tells them.

Under the empire, the federal government thinks it knows what is best for everyone on the planet and has become a bully in the world. We stick our nose in everyones business, where we have no business, to the point that even a lot of our so-called friends do not like us.

Under the great wisdom of our leaders in Washington, D.C. over the last 50 years our country has become insolvent, wih no hope of paying off our debts.

Because of the mess our leaders have made of this empire, they need to have the support of its citizens. The way this is accomplished is by being at war. They know that the citizens will support the military and this keeps the citizens from seeing how corrupt Washington, D.C. has become.

Also, we are not a very smart empire. Previous empires would defeat and plunder. We defeat and then give them money. How has that been working out for our empire?

The Military-Industrial-Congressional Complex wants and needs the empire to be involved in a constant conflict, it really does no matter against whom. That is why we will not see peace until we no longer have the finances to pay for war.

How is it that the Military-Industrial-Congressional Complex can control the citizens? By fear! The fear that is being used is terrorism. Even though foreign terrorism is almost nonexistent within the borders of our country (where our nose needs to be). We are trying to spread freedom throughtout the world while losing it ourselves at home.

Thousands of citizens die every year from abnormal causes, be it from traffic accidents, tobacco, alcohol, drugs, hurricanes, tornados, floods, hospitals, etc. Heck, even lightning kills more citizens than foreign terrorists.

Imagine, if the trillions of dollars (which we do not have) that are needlessly spent on the “War on Terror” were spent within the borders of our country, where our nose belongs.

I remember reading in the paper about Trump not having a moral compass. To become a member of the federal government, upon entering Washington, D.C., you have to leave common sense and a moral compass behind.

How rare it is to have anyone in either a Republican or Democractic Administration to have a moral compass. They have been lying to and selling out Flyover America for decades. Washington, D.C. is rotten to the core.
