The search for a missing man last seen at Hookena Beach Park wrapped up Wednesday.

The Hawaii Fire Department said it found no sign of the man despite a three-day search via land, sea and air. The U.S. Coast Guard also assisted in the effort by letting mariners know via radio to be on the lookout for a missing man. No sign of the man was turned up.

The search started Monday after caretakers at the park went to notify a man who had been camping in his van that his camping permit had expired. The van was still there, however, the man was nowhere to be found, according to officials.
