Regina Brencick-Flottmann

Regina Anastasia Brencick-Flottmann nee Raditic, 94, of Waimea, died July 8, 2017. Born April 15, 1923, in Pagedale, Missouri, she was a chemical librarian.

Friends may call at 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 5 at Annunciation Catholic Church in Waimea for a 10 a.m. Mass. Burial to follow at Waimea Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Dean Fujitani Medical Fund c/o Catholic Church, Waimea, HI 96743.

She is survived by son, Matthew (Shirley) Brencick, of Whidbey Island, Washington; daughter, Janice Brencick, Waimea; brother, Albert (Betty) Radetic, of St. Louis, Missouri; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

David Kaiu

David Kawika “Owl” Kaiu Jr., 63, of Nanakuli, Oahu, died Jan. 29, 2017, at Hale Hoola Hamakua Facility in Honokaa. He was born March 9, 1953.

Friends may call at 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 5 at the Tracks Beach Park in Kapolei, Oahu, for a celebration of life.

Lyndell Queja

Lyndell Marie Queja, 61, of Pahala, died June 28, 2017, at Ka’u Hospital. Born Sept. 25, 1955, in Pahala, she was a housekeeper for the Sea Mountain Condominiums and a member of the Pahala Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Friends may call at 7:30 a.m. on Aug. 5 at Pahala Holy Rosary Catholic Church for a 10 a.m. Mass. The family requests casual attire be worn.

She is survived by daughter, Jennifer (Keone) Grace, of Pahala; sons, Chad (Jerilynn) Pua-Queja and Ryan (Marie Kahaleua) Queja, both of Pahala; brothers, Manuel (Deborah) Marques III, of Naalehu, and Raymond (Jessie) Marques, Francis (Trinidad) Marques and Paris (Keona Paaluhi) Marques, all of Pahala, and Elliot (Melissa) Marques, of Baker, Nevada; sisters, Judith (Clement Chang) Ogata and Claudell (Ronnie Guevara) Yamaguchi, both of Hilo, and Glennis (Stephanine Fitzpatnek) Marques, of Honolulu; daughters, Debbie Sasan and Fayelyn (Tony) Perrson, both of Hilo; 11 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Alma Henderson

Alma Mililani Kaiama Henderson, 87, died July 2, 2017, in Kailua-Kona. Born Feb. 22, 1930, in Hana, Maui, she was a retired provost for Maui Community College and a Rotary International Foundation Fellow.

She is survived by son, Mahi (Joni) Cooper, of Kailua-Kona; brother, Carl (Pat) Kaiama, of Pukalani, Maui; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Arden Henderson

Arden Gordon Henderson, 89, of Kailua-Kona, died July 11, 2017, in Kailua-Kona. Born June 22, 1928, in Callisburg, Texas, he retired as president of Maui Electric Co.
