Hospital announces new TV service for patients
Patients restricted to hospital beds at North Hawaii Community Hospital now have upgraded, high-definition flat-screen televisions, thanks to the generosity of a donor and a new, high-definition cable service.
In addition, the hospital now offers enhanced programming, the same found in local resorts, with twice the previous number of stations. NHCH will also continue to offer its CARE channel (Continuous Ambient Relaxation Environment) which provides peaceful nature scenes with music for comfort and relaxation, and a new hospital information channel.
