Free conservation tillage workshop offered

From 6-8 p.m. Sept. 12, Dr. Ted Kornecki, an agricultural engineer with USDA-ARS National Soil Dynamics Lab Research Unit and an adjunct professor of biosystems engineering with Auburn University, will share a public presentation on conservation tillage, cover crops benefits, roller/crimper technology for small farms, other equipment for small farms and videos of specific field operations.

The workshop will be followed by a Q&A session. Dave Elliott from Oahu Resource Conservation and Development Council will also provide a short presentation about Hawaii-specific cover crops.
