This year, Waimea Middle School will join the Elementary School for the Literacy Night event from 5-7 p.m. Sept. 20 in the cafeteria. All grade levels will be involved.
As with previous literacy nights, they will have a dinner, parent instruction and a book give away, in addition to boxes of gently used books to share with families who attend.
