Kona Stories travel book club meets this week
Kona Stories Book Store hosts a travel book club discussing “White Sands” by Geoff Dyer on Tuesday.
In “White Sands,” Dyer finds himself on the road again, crisscrossing the globe from French Polynesia to northernmost Norway. Throughout his adventures, he interweaves fiction and nonfiction to craft an often hilarious, always inquisitive travelogue about the questions we ask when we step outside ourselves.
The group meets at 6:30 p.m. at the store. Book groups are free if books are purchased at Kona Stories, or a $5 donation is requested.
