The Waimea Community Chorus (WCC) will perform their 25th annual spring concert June 2 and 3 at Kahilu Theatre. Saturday’s concert will begin at 7 p.m. and Sunday’s at 4 p.m.

Inspired by music from “The Great American Songbook,” WCC Musical Director Barbara Kopra and the 60-member chorus will present popular songs from the 1940s era including “Chattanooga Choo Choo,” “At Last,” “You Are My Sunshine,” “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” and music from hit Broadway shows including Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Oklahoma,” “Carousel” and “South Pacific” productions. An instrumental jazz ensemble comprised of local musicians will accompany the chorus.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at kahilutheatre.org, by calling 885-6868, at Kahilu Theatre’s box office between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday through Friday or during theatre performances.
