From 10 a.m-4 p.m. July 14, Pohaha I Ka Lani will host a day celebrating ancestors in the ancient village site of Napo o opo in Waipio Valley.

Attendees can learn about and take home beneficial plants that beat the weeds and protect the aina naturally. Instructors will teach about kalo varieties, kalo farming and mo’olelo of Waipio Valley.

Seats are limited. Transportation into the valley and lunch will be provided. RSVP is required no later than July 6.
