Mr. Henry Scroggin wrote on June 22 that the Russia probe was a hoax. Perhaps Henry, if you turned off Fox News once in a while, you would learn about the following guilty pleas that have been entered in the Russia investigation, just to mention a few:
1) George Papadopolous, a former foreign policy advisor to Trump’s campaign, pleads guilty to lying about his contacts with Russians.
2) Michael T. Flynn, a retired lieutenant general and Trump’s former national security advisor, pleads guilty to lying about his contacts with the Russian ambassador during the presidential transition.
3) Alex van der Zwaan, a former lawyer at a prestigious law firm, pleads guilty to lying to federal agents about his work with Manafort and Gates on a controversial report used to defend the former pro-Russian government of Ukraine against accusations that it had improperly prosecuted a political opponent.
4) Richard Gates pleads guilty to charges of conspiracy and lying to federal agents, and he agrees to cooperate with the special counsel’s office. Prosecutors file additional charges against Manafort alleging bank fraud and undisclosed lobbying on behalf of a foreign entity.
5) Paul Manafort and his business partner, Rick Gates, are indicted on charges of money laundering and tax evasion.
That is only a few of the indictments. There are 19 total so far. I wonder why people would plead guilty to a crime they did not commit.That is very strange.
President Obama did not rip babies out of their mother’s arms. The photo that you are referring to was of teenagers that had crossed the border without parents or family, and they were not held indefinitely. Yes, Trump signed an executive order to undo the mess he has created, but his administration has no idea how to correct the current problems they have caused. They are so inept they did not even create an accurate data base when separating children from their parents. When you enter a hospital you are given an ID bracelet, they couldn’t even do that. DHS and HHS have no idea who these very young children are and who they belong to and where their parents are, in order to be able to reunite them. That is not fake news, that is reality.
The movement of not going against one’s religious beliefs and refusing to bake wedding cakes for gay couples, doesn’t begin to compare to the nation wide conscientious objector movement now opposing kids being taken away from their families which is currently happening in our country.
Examples of the conscientious objector movement include: Airlines refusing to fly these kids all over the country; pro bono lawyers stepping up to represent these desperate parents seeking asylum from murderous gangs; one couple started a GoFundMe page to help an asylum seeking couple get out of detention on $1,500 bail and have raised over $17,000,000 so far; 23 & Me is donating DNA kits to help reunite kids with parents; the Pope and the UN have also condemned Trump’s actions and, hopefully, people looking for a Realtor will also use their conscience when shopping for a firm to help them buy or sell their property.
