HONOKAA — All community members have a chance to be a part of history by participating in a souvenir T-shirt design competition for Honokaa High School’s 130-year celebration. Thousands of graduates and friends will converge on the school campus July 19-21, 2019 for the anniversary event.

The T-shirt design must be displayed on an 8×11 white sheet of paper. No more than four colors can be used. The winning design will be displayed on the front of a kelly green colored shirt. Designs submitted should include at least three of the following: Dragon, Honokaa High School 130-Years, Green &Gold Forever and Dragons for Life.

Entries can be submitted at HHS’ administrative office weekdays during school hours now through Oct 24 at 3 p.m. There is no limitation to the number of designs each person can submit. The winner will be selected at a planning meeting Oct. 25 in the HHS cafeteria beginning at 6 p.m.

The artist with the winning design will be honored and recognized at the 130-year evening program and awarded a prize package.
