Spaghetti Bingo Night, a fundraiser organized by Waikoloa Lions Club, was a success Sept. 15, raising money needed to continue community projects. Approximately 200 people attended the event, and bingo winners received gift certificates from local restaurants and stores.

Annual Lions projects include youth activities, an after-school homework lab, keiki vision testing, keiki “Sight is Beautiful” poster contests, the Waikoloa Christmas parade, help with the Keiki Christmas Festival, A Snow Queen college scholarship, community volunteering and a golf tournament.

Additional volunteers are needed for future Waikoloa Lions Club projects. The group welcomes new ideas to serve their communities. If interested, call Lions secretary Lee Morris at 399-7738 for more information.
