KAINALIU — Despite some rain, Christmas came to Kainaliu Saturday with a flurry of activity from Aloha Theatre to Sandy’s Drive-in.

Businesses along Mamalahoa Highway stayed open for the festive stroll that included vendors, music, food, and magicians.

Aloha Theatre provided face painting, crafts, harp holiday songs and of course Santa and his elf in Damron Hall.
