Caregiving Conversations will gather from 11 a.m.-noon this Wednesday led by professional caregiver Karyn Clay. Whether you are a caregiver by heart, hire or relationship, join fellow caregivers in sharing stories, support and inspiration.

NIA ~ Fitness for Body, Mind, Emotions &Spirit will happen from 8:15-9 a.m. this Thursday and Jan. 17. Megan MacArthur, a Nia Black Belt instructor, will lead this non-impact movement practice based on the idea that through movement we find health. Combining movements and philosophies from the fields of martial, dance and healing arts, Nia is set to diverse music from around the world, and done barefooted. All levels are welcome and encouraged.

Basic Estate Planning 101 will be offered from 10-11:30 a.m. this Saturday by John G. Roth, a local estate-planning attorney. “You can’t take it with you.” Estate planning is the process of putting together a plan, which allows someone to manage your assets and carry out your wishes in the event of your incapacity or death. Learn about options to under current Hawaii laws that may apply to you and your family.

Talk Story with Carol Hannum will meet from 1-2:30 p.m. this Saturday. Meet the author of the process and book, “The Holon Method.” This Psionic “modality” is defined as the power of energy and thought form to change matter, and intends to support people on a quantum level by employing a specific group of powerful commands that directly transform and clear disease and illness. Listen to the many great stories and twists along the road of Carol’s 30-year journey, and enjoy a group healing at the end.

Senior Fit Club will kick off at 1:30 p.m. for an hour on Jan. 7, 14 and 28 with a variety of modalities on DVD to choose from. Physical activity is one of the most important steps to take toward improving and maintaining health. Studies show that people who stay active are more likely to live longer and remain independent.
