KAILUA-KONA — The Hawaiian Volcano Observatory on Thursday released a new video with scientists discussing why water appeared at the bottom of Halemaumau crater.

The 16-minute video also features the scientists sharing how HVO is monitoring the rising water level, and the potential hazards of water in the crater.
