Yukie Oye

Yukie Hinomoto “Bachan” Oye, 83, of Waimea, died Apr. 14, 2020, at home. She was born in Hiroshima, Japan and was a farmer and a member of the Kamuela Hongwanji Mission and the Waimea Seniors Club.

Private family services held. Public memorial service will be held at a later date. No flowers or koden (monetary donations).

Survived by son, Alton (Brandie) Oye of Kawaihae; daughters, Georgianne (Jon) Lawson of Waikoloa and Marvis (Lane) Yanagisawa of Waimea; brothers, Toshiaki (Hiromi) Hinomoto of Nagoya, Japan and Haruo (Sanae) Hinomoto of Hiroshima, Japan; sisters, Fusae Yamamoto, Mitsue Fushida and Masae Hinomoto of Hiroshima, Japan; six grandchildren; nieces &nephews.

Richard Noble

Richard Herrick Noble, 86, of Hawi, died Apr. 15, 2020, at his residence. Born in Huron, S.D., he was a retired switching technician for the former Hawaiian Telephone Company, member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hawi and a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Private services will be held at a later date. Survived by wife, Roseline Noble of Hawi; sons, Bill (Carol) Noble of Kailua-Kona, Derek (Joanne) Noble of Hilo; daughter, Barbara (James) Lincoln of Hawi; sister, Kay Gregg of South Dakota; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces &nephews.

Marilyn De Costa

Marilyn Mae De Costa, 72, of Hilo, died March 30, 2020 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. She was born on Jan. 16, 1948, in Hilo. She was a former realtor for Brilhante and Jan Mahuna. She was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo. Private services were held.

Survived by, husband, Rey De Costa of Hilo; daughters, Sharlene De Costa-Sutton of Kona, Rayanne Lum of Hilo, Kimberly (Kevin) Hill of Hilo and Kellcey (Rex) Ribao of Hilo; son, Nicholas (Brandi) Ah Yo, II of Hilo; brother, Joe De Sa of Oahu; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Mary Fuller

Mary “Marye” Elizabeth Fuller, 97, of Puako, died April 15, 2020, at her home. Born June 20, 1922 in Colorado Springs, CO, she was a homemaker, jewelry sales associate for Hildgunds at Mauna Lani and an innkeeper.

Her party honoring her will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to North Hawaii Hospice, 65-1328 Kawaihae Road, Waimea, Hawaii 96743.

She is survived by children, Patricia Palmer of Waimea, Jeffery Fuller, Sara Fuller both of Puako; five grandchildren, a great-granddaughter.
