Andrew Christy

Andrew James Christy, 58, of Ocean View, died May 5, 2020, at his residence. Born in Morristown, N.J. on May 23, 1961, he was a self-employed auto mechanic and a U.S. Army veteran.

No services are planned.

He is survived by his companion, Dee Palakiko of Ocean View; son, Andrew Christy, Jr. of Everett, WA; sister, Carol Starke of Pine Brook, NJ; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

James Grazzini Jr.

James “Jim” Albert Grazzini, Jr., of Kurtistown, died May 8, 2020. Born Feb. 1, 1949 in San Francisco, CA, James was a teacher and a local woodworker who transformed many homes on the Big Island.

A celebration of life will be held via Zoom. Friends and family are asked to contact the family for information.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Bambara; two sons, Tobias (Michael Mathison) Grazini and Levin (Hannah Kogan-Pugsley) Pugsley; a sister, Patty (Robert Kogane) Grazini; brothers, Jeff (Evelyn) Grazini and Jerry (Teresa) Grazini; a granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Donald Farrell

Donald “Toby” Chase Farrell, 58, of Kalopa, died May 10 at his residence. Born July 22, 1961 in Los Angeles, CA, he was a carpenter.

Private service to be held at a later date.

He is survived by companion, Lola Gillis Wright of Kalopa; daughter, April Farrell of Oregon; Paul Farrell of California; father, John Farrell of Paauilo; siblings, Paula Sugg, Susan Farrell, Cherie Farrell, Michael Farrell, John Farrell all of Oregon; two grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
