For an 11th straight day on Sunday, Hawaii County reported no new COVID-19 cases, leaving the island’s total case count at 81.

However, two new cases were reported on Oahu, bringing the statewide case total to 675, according to a noon update from the state Department of Health. That statewide tally includes 11 Hawaii residents who were diagnosed outside the state.

Kauai and Maui reported no new cases with their totals standing at 21 and 120, respectively, while the new cases on Oahu brought that island’s total to 441.

Of the cases identified to date statewide, 617 have since recovered and been released from isolation. That includes all 81 cases on the Big Island, which hasn’t reported a new case since May 27.

Statewide, 84 people have required hospitalization, including one person in Hawaii County.

The statewide death toll from coronavirus-related illness remains at 17, with 11 on Oahu and six on Maui.
