Domingo Rodriguez

Domingo Rodriguez, 94, of Pahoa, died June 9, 2020 at Pohai Malama. He was born in 1925 in Honolulu.

No services will be held.

He is survived by daughter, Diana (Michael) Freeman of Pahoa; brother, Franklin Rosa Sr. of Keaau; sister, Bessie Pabilona of Pepeekeo; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

Rosina Milton

Rosina Dolores Milton, 89, of Honalo, died June 7, 2020 at Kona Community Hospital. Born Oct. 6, 1930, in Kohala, , she was a housewife and worked at the former Kona Bakery.

Services planned for a later date.

She is survived by sons, Ken (Diane) Milton of New Mexico, Jim (Laura) Milton of Ventura, CA, Karl Milton of Honalo; daughter, Barbara Kasem of Washington; brothers, Ben (Helen) Fuellas of Oahu, and John Fuellas of Kailua-Kona; sister, Shirley Uchima of Hilo; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Miles Nakahara

Miles Mitsuyoshi Nakahara, 69, of Kailua-Kona, died April 27, 2020 at his residence. Born in Hilo on June 27, 1950, he was a wildlife biologist and co-founder of Hawaii Wildfire Management Organization.

Services will be held at a later date.

He is survived by wife, Carol Ann Nakahara of Kailua-Kona; son, Lee Nakahara of Honolulu; sister, Diana Tomori of Hilo; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Lydia Namba

Lydia Cuizon Namba, 65, of Kurtistown, died Feb. 19, 2020 at Hilo Medical Center. Born May 19, 1954, in Sarrat City, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she was a self-employed farmer and vendor of fruits and vegetables at the Hilo Farmers Market.

She is survived by husband, Kenneth Namba of Kurtistown; sons, Phillip Namba of Hilo and Christopher (Joy) Namba of Keaau; daughter, Hisae Namba of Hilo; three grandchildren; numerous other relatives in the Philippines.

Martha Abong

Martha Bargas Abong, 91, of Pepeekeo, died June 5, 2020 at Hale Hoola Hamakua. Born Aug. 5, 1928, in Kalopa, she was a homemaker and member of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Honomu.

Private services held.

She is survived by sons, Raymond (La) Abong and Robert Abong of Pepeekeo; daughters, Pauline Abong (Dennis) McClees Jr. of Honolulu and Sylvia Abong (Franklin) Kakazu of Puhi, Kauai; brother, Alfonso Remolino of Agoura Hills, California; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Stewart Barro

Stewart Phillip Barro, 64, of Waimea, died April 9, 2020, at the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. He was born in Pahala, raised in Naalehu and was an Alaskan oilrig chef and a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by father, Phillip Barro of Waimea; brother, Anthony Barro of Naalehu; sisters, Debbie Gacayan of Las Vegas and Liane (Willy) Barro-Kilmede of Waimea; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
