Mayoral forum slated Oct. 1

The Big Island Press Club will host a live mayoral forum on Oct. 1 in Hilo with Hawaii County mayoral candidates Ikaika Marzo and Mitch Roth. Sherry Bracken will moderate the 90-minute discussion that starts at 4:30 p.m.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no live audience. The Big Island Press Club is using the latest guidance to keep the candidates, the moderator, and the broadcast technical team properly distanced and safe during the forum.

The event will be live-streamed on the Big Island Press Club’s Facebook as well as air live on B97/B93 (97.1 FM in Hilo and 93.1 FM in Kona).
