Hawaii CC hosting online workshops to help students enroll

Hawaii Community College is offering online enrollment workshops that can help prospective students apply for the spring or fall 2021 semesters.

There are two sets of workshops. One is called “Getting Started at Hawaii Community College” and will happen Tuesdays in October and November. In addition, the Palamanui campus in Kona will offer a series of workshops called “Discover Palamanui” specifically geared toward students interested in studying at the West Hawaii campus.

The first Discover Palamanui events are noon to 1 p.m. and 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 13 and will highlight the University of Hawaii distance learning bachelor’s and graduate degrees.

The next Getting Started at Hawaii Community College workshop is from 5 to 6 p.m. this evening.

Hawaii Community College has been delivering most of its classes online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with some technical programs and lab classes being delivered in-person while following safety guidelines. Hawaii CC expects to continue this format in spring 2021.
