Alida Martin

Alida “Jackie” Jacqueline Martin, 70, of Ninole, died Jan. 26, 2021, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, she was a retired cafeteria manager at Laupahoehoe School.

She is survived by companion, Edwin Pavao of Ninole; son, Michael Martin of Lahaina; daughters, Michelle (Jered) Santos of Kahului, and Jaclyn (Brandon) Mathias of Waikapu, Maui; brother, Alfred Lee Jr. of Pahoa; sister, Clara Lee of Hilo; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins.

Judy Santos

Judy Ann Santos, 65, of Honomu, died Jan. 21, 2021, at Hilo Medical Center. Born June 15, 1955, in Honolulu, she was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Honomu.

She is survived by son, Shane Santos of Honomu; sisters, Annette Santos and Tina Lynn Santos of Honomu; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Christopher Hill

Christopher Douglas Hill, 39, of Kailua-Kona, died Jan. 23, 2021, at Kona Community Hospital. Born July 18, 1981, in Minnesota, he was a journeyman carpenter.

Services will be held at a later date.

He is survived by daughter, Aaliyah Hill and son, Drake Hill of Roseville, California; brothers, Nicholas (Tabitha) Hill and Brian (Thanyaporn) Hill, all of Wahiawa, Oahu; and a niece and three nephews.

Lillian Rodrigues

Lillian Marie Rodrigues, 95, of Puyallup, Washington and formerly of the Big Islan, died Jan. 12, 2021, at Rainier Rehabilitation Nursing Home Long Term Care Facility. Born June 28, 1925, in Honomu, she was a homemaker and formerly a member of the New Hope Fellowship in Hilo and the Kohala Puerto Rican Social Club.

She is survived by sons, Ray (Barbara) Filkins of Papaikou and Dennis (Linda) Eblacas of Keaau; daughter, Orlana (Cyrus) Long of Pahoa; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Akasha Rose

Akasha Rose, 79, of Kailua-Kona, died Jan. 21, 2021, at her residence. Born April 20, 1940, in Ashville, North Carolina, she was an emergency room technician.

She is survived by sons, Keith Groft of Cape Canaveral, Florida, and Shaman De Arco and Jade De Arco, both of Kailua-Kona; sister, Cookie Baker of Maryland; and six grandchildren.

Randy Ah Nee

Randy Warner Ah Nee, 54, of Pahala, died Jan. 30, 2021, at his residence. Born in Honolulu, he was a carpenter.
