The Hawaii Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in locating a 59-year-old Na‘alehu woman who was reported missing.

Gail Ka‘awa was last seen around 11 a.m. Dec. 8 leaving the Keahuolu Courthouse in Kailua-Kona, polcie said. Ka‘awa, who may frequent the Hilo area, has a medical condition that requires medication.

She is described as being Hawaiian, 5, feet 5 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds, with long wavy black hair and brown eyes, according to police.
