UPDATE: Big Island police have located 31-year-old Valerie Sanchez of Ocean View, who was wanted on three outstanding warrants and for questioning in connection with other criminal incidents. She was arrested Tuesday morning in Ocean View.

Big Island police are asking for the public’s assistance with locating two Ka‘u residents who are wanted on outstanding warrants.

Valerie Sanchez, 31, of Ocean View is wanted on three bench warrants for criminal contempt of court. She is also being sought for questioning in connection with other criminal incidents, according to the Hawaii Police Department. Sanchez is described as being of Puerto Rican descent, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Wade Baji Jr. is a 37-year-old Na‘alehu man who is wanted on two bench warrants for criminal contempt of court and a warrant of arrest for violating probation, according to police. He is also being sought for questioning in connection with a trespassing incident. Baji is described as being of Hawaiian descent, 6 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing 270 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
