Renwick Bibilone
Renwick P. Bibilone, 66, of Volcano, died June 1, 2022 at his residence. Born Oct. 15, 1955, in Hilo, he was a retired teacher for various public schools, mostly at Ka‘u High and Pahala Elementary schools and a U.S. Navy veteran.
Friends may call at 4 p.m. June 30 at Dodo Mortuary chapel; service at 6 p.m. Urn committal with military honors and burial will be held at.9 a.m. July 1 at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 (pavilion).
He is survived by father, Pablo Bibilone of Hilo; brother, Bert (Janet) Bibilone of Hilo; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Hagie Kaya
Hagie M. Kaya, 96, of Papaikou, died April 15, 2022, at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born July 1, 1925, in Hilo, she was a homemaker and member of Taishoji Soto Mission Kyodan and Fujinkai, Orchid Isle Dance Club, Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association and Kamana Senior Dance Club.
Private services held. Family requests no monetary gifts or flowers.
She is survived by son, Maurice (Shelley) Kaya; daughters, Meryl (Leighton) Iwasaki and Jocelyn (Gary) Yamagata; brother, Robert Minamoto; sister, Eunice (Dennis) Kimura; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

John Rosdil
John S. Rosdil, 62, of Kurtistown, died June 4, 2022, at Pohai Malama in Hilo. Born in East Chicago, Indiana, he was employed at Safeway and Redwater Construction and was a member of the band “Electric Petroglyphs.”
Services will be held at a later date.
He is survived by daughter, Regan (Michael Gomes) Rosdil; brothers, Robert (Inday) Rosdil and William (Phan) Rosdil; sister, Penny (Rick) Ruppert; two grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Satomi Hiura
Satomi Hiura, 100, of Papaikou, died May 6, 2022 in the Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Facility in Hilo. Born Jan. 19, 1922, in Amauulu Camp, Hilo, she was a preschool teacher who served as the director of the Papaikou Hongwanji Nursery School and was a member of the Papaikou Hongwanji Buddhist Temple and East Hawaii Hiroshima Kenjin Kai.
Private services held. No flowers or koden (monetary offerings).
She is survived by daughter, Karen Konishi of Hilo; son, Arnold (Eloise) Hiura of Papaikou; daughter-in-law, Carol Kato Hiura of Honolulu; sisters, Mary Aoki and Ellen (Walter) Inouye, both of Honolulu; brother, Toshiharu (Judy) Hamane of Honolulu; sister-in-law, Toshiko Fujisaki of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Lisa Leialoha Yamada, 60, of Hilo died on May 28, 2022, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was the office manager, youth director and member of the Kurtistown Assembly of God.
