This should not have happened

Andrea Shirley, promotes concealed weapons carry citing a CDC study. She says that between 500,000 and three million people use their guns defensively every single year. I Googled the CDC study and the analysis by a writer for Forbes magazine. The conclusion was that the study was inconclusive and could not be relied on.

She also seems to think that no one will bring guns into a bar. She forgets Christopher Deedy, the bar-hopping federal agent who shot and killed Kollin Elders in a Waikiki bar, not many years ago.

What about the 11-year-old Boy Scout shot at a Boy scout camp with an AK 47? What the hell are people thinking bringing military-grade semi-auto weapons to a Boy Scout camp. Obviously lacking gun safety protocol resulted in the death of an 11 year old. I hope that the family will take full action against the gun owner and the Boy Scouts of America. This should not have happened.

The greatest

I have only great things to say about the late, great Billy Kenoi who was a great friend of mine. No mayor of Hawaii County past, present or future will accomplish what this blessed man has done for the Big Island.

I will not go the fake news route and will only say great things about Kenoi. Let’s start with the great Kenoi accomplishing the West Hawaii Civic Center, which in itself is a super awesome accomplishment giving West Hawaii people what they deserve since they are paying the bulk of the taxes.

In keeping things short, here is a brief list of the great, late Kenoi’s accomplishments: Pahala Gym with four full courts and a certified gym, West Hawaii Civic Center, Kapiolani Road Extension, Panaewa Gym, Honokaa Rodeo Arena just to name a few of the many accomplishments of this fine man. To those who say bad things about the greatest mayor and politician in Hawaii’s history, you will end up in the wrong place in the after life for we are truly living in the last of the last days.
