Police seek Kona man on outstanding warrant

Hawaii Island police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 28-year-old Hudson Patrick Ho‘oulu Sauer, of Kona, who is wanted for an outstanding warrant of arrest relative to several vehicle thefts, and for questioning in other criminal investigations.

Sauer is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 145 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, according to the Hawaii Police Department. He has a tattoo on his outer left arm of the Virgin Mary and the word “Ku‘uipo” tattooed in bold black lettering on his inner left arm, as well as a tribal design tattoo on his upper back and neck.

Sauer is known to frequent South Kona, and was most recently spotted in Ka‘u on Saturday.
